She is presenty based in her home city, Edinburgh in Scotland. </p><p>Her painting is not about producing a perfect photograph, but rather to look real and that the subject be alive and organic, where one can feel the space around the subject, whether human or non-human, alive or not alive. Let there be air to breathe. Seeking the light and beauty within each subject is Husna's aim whether it’s a portrait, a still-life or other.</p><p>Her love of travel, drama, architecture, history, people and beautiful items are all apparent in the variety of the subjects she  chooses to express on paper and canvas.
